Legal guarantee
5.1 All products sold by Quattrotempi are covered by the manufacturer's conventional warranty and by the 24-month warranty for lack of conformity, pursuant to Legislative Decree 24/02. To take advantage of the warranty assistance, the Customer must keep the order note inserted in the packages shipped.
5.2 The manufacturer's conventional warranty is provided in the manner described in the documentation inside the product packaging. Quattrotempi will return the component to the Supplier (or possibly to the Service Center in charge) for the verification of the reported defectiveness. If the right to replace the product under warranty is not recognized, Quattrotempi will report the reasons to the Customer, to whom any verification and restoration costs requested by the Authorized Assistance will be charged, as well as the transport costs, if incurred by Quattrotempi.
5.3 The 24-month warranty applies to a product that has a lack of conformity, provided that the product itself is used correctly, in compliance with its intended use and as provided in the attached technical documentation. This guarantee is reserved for the private consumer (natural person who purchases the goods for purposes not related to their professional activity, or makes the purchase without indicating a VAT number on the order form). In the event of a lack of conformity, Quattrotempi provides, at no cost to the customer, to restore the conformity of the product by repairing / replacing or reducing the price, until the contract is terminated. If the right to replace the product under warranty is not recognized, Quattrotempi will report the reasons to the Customer, to whom any verification and restoration costs requested by the Authorized Assistance will be charged, as well as the transport costs, if incurred by Quattrotempi.
5.4 The replacements in case of DOA (Dead On Arrival, or product not working on delivery) occur only if expressly provided for by the manufacturer. The timing of replacement or repair of the product depends exclusively on the policies of the manufacturer.
5.5 In the event that, for any reason, it is unable to return a product under warranty (restored or replaced) to its customer, Quattrotimi may proceed at its discretion to return the full amount paid or to replace it with a product of equal or superior characteristics.
5.6 No damage can be requested from Quattrotempi for any delays in carrying out repairs or replacements.
5.7 In cases where the application of the guarantees provides for the return of the product, the goods must be returned by the Customer in the original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessory equipment: manuals, cables, etc. .. .). To limit damage to the original packaging, we recommend, whenever possible, to provide suitable packaging.
5.8 Warranty limitations may apply on racing equipment, electrical parts, batteries, helmets and hazardous materials. Batteries have a 12 month limited warranty
5.9 The legal guarantee does not cover in the following cases:
- The defect or damage was caused by improper use
- Installation on motorcycle models not listed in the compatibility list
- Repairs or interventions carried out by persons not authorized by the manufacturer;
- Handling of assembly components;
- Defects or damage caused by falling, breaking, lightning or infiltration of liquids.
